Britney Spears called out her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, mum Lynne Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears in a since-deleted Instagram post on Monday (28 March).

The Toxic singer shared a video of her dancing to Dusty Springfield’s Son of a Preacher Man to her millions of followers, explaining how she received a “calling” from Jesus about those who have previously betrayed her.

Timberlake and Spears dated at the start of their careers from 1999 until 2002 before a dramatic, high-profile and well-publicised breakup. The singer has previously spoken briefly about the situation and Timberlake has since apologised for his treatment of both Spears and Janet Jackson, acknowledging that he benefits from misogyny and racism in the music industry as a white man.

Nevertheless, it seems that Spears does not accept the apology from Timberlake nor has she forgiven her mum Lynne. Although the caption and the video have since been deleted, Spears claimed that Jesus told her: “Dear child … your mom had a serving with her book at the exact time when you needed her most …all for WHAT ??? FAME and ATTENTION!!!!”

Lynne Spears released a tell-all memoir back in 2008, just a year after Britney Spears’ very public issues with her mental health and split from Kevin Federline, titled Through the Storm: A Real Storm of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.

Taking aim at Timberlake, Spears went on to claim that Jesus told her: “Your ex did the same thing … he served with his first album using your name claiming you did him dirty!!!!”

Britney Spears then took a shot at her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, whose memoir Things I Should Have Said became a bestseller in the US earlier this year, continuing: “Then your blood, one of the hardest times in your life guess what your sisters does… a book too… all for what???

“Knowing a book is the last thing you would ever do … well because you ran away from drama and created a dream world for yourself … that’s why artists play characters to escape !!!”

The latest Instagram video is one of many posts Spears has shared about her life and her family following the termination of her cruel, 13-year-long conservatorship.

The star recently revealed that her father Jamie declared “I am Britney!” at the start of the conservatorship. She also said that he “stripped” her womanhood away via his newfound control over her life.

“I was never the same,” said Spears.

Nevertheless, things seem to be looking up for the pop icon. According to sources, she is currently working on her own memoir to capture her rise to fame, her career and her strained relationship with her family.

The book will reportedly be coming from publishing house Simon and Schuster.
